Why should I rescale my 3D data?

  • 3Specifying the scale before modifying 3D data optimally reflects functions that modify the shape, such as THICKNESS.

If the 3D data is modified with very small data, the 3DP3 modification will be greatly affected and the user may not be satisfied with the modified result.
If the 3D data is too larger than the actual size of the model, the model may be too thin in detail when reduced after modification.

Example data that is to0 small and thickness is added vs rescaled and fixed with the same settings
If the data is manually scaled down after being fixed, thin parts and textures may print incorrectly.
